Karim Musta Benzema was the star boy of the night as Real Madrid aged past PSG in the champions league to qualify for the finals.

An early Goal from PSG’s Kylian Mbappe at The Santiago Bernabue was not enough to qualify them to the quarter finals after Benzima took the matters into his own legs to finish off the French kings.

Karim Benzema scored a hatrick that qualified Real Madrid on aggregate 3;2 against PSG. Benzema, as a Real Madrid star player and Captain of the night had alot to prove the world in a match believed to have been the best of the round of 16.

PSG came to Spain with an advantage after beating Madrid at their home turf in Paris a fortnight ago. The advantage was however short-lived.

Experience, History and top quality changed everything in the secondhalf. Pochettino made a few substitutes which must have led to his heart break and more history to his unsuccessful legacy. His side rallied all their key stars for the first half with Messi, Mbappe, and Neymar leading the forward line. only Mbappe showed his worth while Messi didn’t get a chance to prove his world star record against sharp opponents.

Real Madrid’s composure, determination and organization throughout the game are key to note for their win against Visitors at a full house Santiago Bernabue. Luka Modric and Toni Kroos were a solid pair in the midfield for some minutes of the first half with Alaba and Militao pulling a star perfomance in the defence, save for the poor marking that allowed the goal from the opponents. Anchelotti made thebest substitutions compared to Pochettino and this is what solved the debate of the night.

Camavinga is the best midfielder to watch after the young French Midfielder changed the result with accurate passes and not allowing any loss of possession for the minutes he played.

Benzema’s hatrick will go down in history as one of the best from a Real Madrid player because it came in at a time it was needed most.
