Jubilee MPs renewed push for Raila to retire from politics following his new appointment President Uhuru Kenyatta has reaffirmed his pledge to support Deputy President William Ruto as his successor in 2022.
The president rubbished media reports that the March 2018 peace pact he signed with Opposition leader Raila Odinga had taken a toll on his relationship with the DP.
